Tomorrow is my youngest son's 18th Birthday!!! It's his champange Birthday turning 18 on the 18th Plus it's a Friday!!!

What do you think is a great gift under $200.00 for a boy becoming a man? He loves playing on his grand piano, he loves his 3D printer, he loves anime stuffed characters, he loves collectables, he loves rocks like amythiest and jade, He works construction like tareouts and reconstruction, and buildings like provincial buildings and schools to private homes. He just bought himself steel toe boots

Re music. A gift certificate to "Sweetwater", a music store in Indiana! The place is HUGE. It's even a great place to spend a day. They even have ping-pong tables to use if you get tired of looking at pianos and music!! Maybe get some sheet music, or a portable keyboard?? I bought each of our two daughter's families an Alesis 88-key electric piano for $300 each. (They HAVE gone up $33 since I bought ours, but even at that, it's a great deal). They DO have full size and Yamaha portable keyboards under $200, plus some "open box" deals that carry the same warrantee as new- they have free shipping on 99% of their products. Each customer gets a personal sales contact. We have been very happy with Tommy Heil as our rep. Re: reconstruction. He probably has all/most of his own equipment, including demolition saws, etc., so I would say to forget that category (except for a gift cert, maybe) and let him get what he wants- us construction-types can get very picky about our personal tools. Re: Geology/rocks. You can get some really showy 12-16 ounce Amethyst geodes for under $100 via E-bay or Amazon. Nice piece plus a collectible in one piece!! Re: 3-D Printer. Get an assortment of colors of raw "printing" materials for his unit- pellets, filaments, resins- whatever raw form his unit uses. A couple of books. "Hard times create strong men", by Stefan Aarnio. " 8 things a boy should know about being a man", by Horace Hough. Good luck to you both!!!
