Two Birthday's down for the count! And right now I'm eating left over cake!!!
Yesterday May 7th was my husbands Birthday! He turned 63!!! Between my daughter and I, we decorated the house with different variations of blue balloons and black ones! We hung up a Birthday banner, bought a cake, and gifts that he needed, and between family and friends, and well wishers, he had a really good Birthday! That and Oh I also made him his favorite meal, roast beef, diced baby postatoes roasted, and crispy broccoli and my daughter bought a fruit platter! So it was good eating!
Then today May 8th was our daughters 20th Birthday, this time I blew up red balloons, bought her a strawberry short cake, but then her boyfriend bought a large slab of cake with fresh icing roses like how she likes them and Happy Birthday and her name accross the cake! And some little plastic butterflies that she can keep! Then we got her the gifts that she needed, or wanted, and yesterday I took another rout home for some strange reason, and I passed by my daughters dear friends house Nana and Papa's house, no they are not related but to her they're family! So I saw Nana sitting in her front yard doing yard work, and it must have been by Gods divine appointment that she was there, cause I rolled down my car window and invited her to our daughters Birthday last minute! And they came, just in time for cake!!! It wouldn't have been as special without them! I also made my daughter whatever she desired for supper, so she chose ribs, so I made ribs which turned out super tasty and moist, rice, and instead of our usual broccolli or corn, I put some peach slices into a bowl, and you know what it went good with our supper! At least to me, my husband compared it to pineapple on Pizza and her boyfriend called it a sin! Lol! But I thought it was a nice touch! Anyways all is said and done, everyone is getting ready for bed, My daughters boyfriend took an evening off from homework from college to visit her on her Birthday and he bought her the most gorgeous bouquet of roses and flowers ever!!! I know that my husband and daughter both had really really good Birthdays this year! Two down, now we can rest!
