Have you celebrated your birthday alone?

I'll have to celebrate my birthday alone this year :(. Thinking of treating myself to a meal and a cocktail (a strong one because I want to get a wee bit tipsy).
Weird or perfectly ok?

Yes one time I wanted to take a day off for my birthday but the supervisor was being stingy with our accrued time because he didn’t want to fill in for us on any days off. The day before my birthday it came a snowstorm, dumped 18 inches starting mid-afternoon. They let us go home 2 hours early (with snow pay) and we were off the next two days (Thursday and Friday). Thursday was my birthday and I got a lot of rest, played on my WebTV for an entire day, cleaned, cooked and etc. I couldn’t get my car out to go anywhere and bundled up and walked a mile to go to a 7-11 to get a Sunday paper and snacks and drinks. This was in 2020 and it was a birthday to remember.
