Have you celebrated your birthday alone?

I'll have to celebrate my birthday alone this year :(. Thinking of treating myself to a meal and a cocktail (a strong one because I want to get a wee bit tipsy).
Weird or perfectly ok?

I have, by choice. I lost my daughter on my birthday and wouldn't have wanted to have anyone else subjected to my terrible mood an that day.
