Is it legit to be jealous of birthday wishes as an adult?

I did call my mom for her birthday, but I forgot to call my dad because I recently discovered that my best friend has her birthday on the same date as him. Now two weeks after his birthday I called him for quite some other reason and he suddenly hinted on if I hadn't forgotten something recently. I did notice that it was his birthday as well, but that was around 10pm. Now is it legit for him to be jealous? 🤷‍♂️
