August- there is nothing like that late summer sadness

The desperation that comes when something beautiful is ending. I hate letting it go. But I'll relive it in my head all winter.

Summer often feels…. “Too much” to me, very quickly

I look forward to autumn
@WaryWitchWandering I think Fall is overtaking summer as the favorite season for most people

@robingoodfellow it’s always been my favorite (foliage, cool air with warm sun, the flavors and scents, cozy clothes and vibes)

Have I mentioned the foliage!?!?

@robingoodfellow but I do love Christmas time too… that’s my happy place haha. Since having kids it’s very magical again

But once holidays are done and dead of winter hits… it’s rough. I think deep dead of winter and blazing mid-late summer are my worst times of the year
@WaryWitchWandering when Autumn fully arrives in her orange and yellow blaze of glory it's a feast for all the senses.
@WaryWitchWandering I never outgrew Christmas. I still find a lot of magic in it
