That will be when i can buy books again, i feel like making it a huge splurge, and THEN i'll start saving money like you wouldn't believe.
Some of the pricey volumes i've got my eye on:
Written by renowned Aristotle scholar Sir David Ross, this study has long been established as one of the foremost surveys of Aristotle's life, work and philosophy. With John L. Ackrill's introduction and updated bibliography, created for the sixth edition, the book continues to serve as a standard guide, both for the student of ancient history and the general reader.
and other things, i must keep some things as a surprise, but 2 things i'll mention, a happy thing, and a sad thing
happy
Besides Introductions and footnotes, what i'm seeing as a neat bonus on snazzy Plato editions are Interpretative Essays at the end
sad
The late antiquity Neoplatonist Proclus wrote a multi volume commentary on Timaeus, it's wonderful that some of it is even available, but of 5 volumes, the 2nd and 5th are available, the rest as i saw when i looked around are in triple digits each for paperbacks!! But i'm so mad i might be getting the 2 volumes i can early morning August 28.
Now i bid thee adieu, stay cool in the heat of the day, and keep inspired in the dark night of the kneecap.
