Summer holds it's last bloom
Now is the time
to wear your favorite summer dress
just one more time
Enjoy the flower gardens
The lush green beds around you
Enjoy every last bit of sunbeam
This month is the bridge
between summer and autumn
But it's not autumn just yet

August has a slight melancholy to it. The rich green of summer is still here but there's a hint of tiredness to it. You can sense it's waning.
