January 7, the birthday of my film collection could be when i get the GOOD translation of the Mahabharata done by Bibek Debroy, i've been seeing some videos of him speaking, he's interesting, speaks with force and precise structure which he firmly outlines before going right into things.
So i need to complete the cheap version of the Mahabharata in about 147 or 150 days!!!
I will be also reading alongside it the Ramayana which thankfully i have Debroy there doing it with all those illuminating footnotes. And the Rig Veda.
He's done quite a bit of the Puranas also, which in the latest bit i saw him in a video he says is where alot of the customs come from that the everyday India dweller sees.
