Warning - Things Get Real On Here!

For people that think SW is all pretend, this is a warning. Have been talking to a friend for a long time, met him in person, etc. He got involved with a minor that was in the over 18 age category but really 17. Pics, visits, etc. Poor choices have now landed him in jail for most likely many years. He lost everything! Think long and hard before the SW game turns bad!!

It's the pics that did it.

In most places in the US, the age of consent is 16, but the age to form a contract is 18.

So at 16, you can choose who gets access to your body, but pictures require you to be 18.

@SomeMichGuy this is what mostly did it. Guys should think about the pics they send! Having sex with her was still a misdemeanor but the pics sent are a felony. You’re correct that the pics received were child pornography. He’s awaiting sentencing.
