Yes, I have been to a boarding school as an exchange student. It was scary at first, because of the sudden change to different crowds and environment. After a few months, I have slowly gotten used to it. It was fun, nonetheless. I even found a niche in bowling, I always thought of it as something boring to me. However, I had my first experience playing it and it was absolutely amazing.

@NoobGains That's cool! I didn't think bowling was an activity some schools did!

I would not like boarding school. I'm too much into family and spending time together and I'd miss the people in my life.
I often wondered how it is to be away from home so long.

@SW-User I had a lot of classmates like you.
For younger kids, it's scary for a while. I thought I wouldn't like it but I did. Then my parents took me home

@Manfredthemanic I just can't see sending any child off to a place where I don't take care of him/her. I guess some adjust to it just fine, but others feel lonely and wonder why they got sent off.

@SW-User My dad said that education is better in boarding school.
Someone I knew only went for a few weeks and his grandmother collected him.
I was scared and upset when my parents told me I was going but I was alright for a while. Now I do normal school.
