So the CDC has just decided the PCR test is not a valid test for covid.

Without the PCR test there is no covid pandemic and without that there is no emergency and without that the vaxes are no longer approved and because of that people's life span just increased. Those vaxes will kill you.

I think there’s a lot of people who died from Covid in India who would disagree with you.

@justanothername Did you know that the flu has completely disappeared? Nmmm what could be the cause of that? I know I know (waving my hand frantically in the air) the flu was confused with covid and the flu deaths that occur every year were counted as covid deaths to scare people like you. It worked.
@hippyjoe1955 Did doctors not test for covid and the flu? My doctors and my children's doctors always tested for other illnesses in addition to covid if they shared symptoms. My flu tests were always negative.

@midnightrose A lot of testing was not done by doctors. There were clinics set up to take swabs and send them to the lab. The lab couldn't tell which corona virus it had flu or covid so it labeled everything covid. The flu and flu deaths didn't officially happen in the last two years.
@hippyjoe1955 My tests were separate, using different swabs. The flu swab was thinner and longer. I guess my doctors wanted to be extra sure. I went to three different doctors and they all did it that way. Weird that some would only do one test to check both.

@midnightrose You went to your doctor. Many many many people didn't. They went to a public clinic or a drive through clinic to be tested. Not that many went to visit their doctor.
@hippyjoe1955 I went to an immediate care clinic two of those times.

ETA: I understand that some wanted the free testing that the drive-thru clinics were offering.

@hippyjoe1955 Yea, I went to a Wellspan Urgent Care, a clinic basically, and did a nasal swab. A day before that clinic visit, I was only showing cold like symptoms. Then when I came home from work on thursday, I had chills. I decided the next morning to call off work and go in for a PCR test. Test came back covid positive.

When I was in 10th grade, is when I had the flu. I never get the flu shot. It's pointless. Now, from that point of being in 10th grade until March of 2021, I had a flu symptom --- chills. Did I have covid, flu, or both? I never lost smell, taste, vision, hearing or touch. Never had problems breathing, never had constant coughing, never had muscle aches. Only thing I had was loss of appetite and tiredness.

The lady who was present for the swab, I asked her "so what do I do to help get rid of what I have?" (we were under the assumption I had covid) She said, oh just do the usual nighttime syrups, cold and flu meds, etc. I said wait a minute... I thought this wasn't the flu. She smirked when I said that.

I took it as, in her mind, whatever I had, was covid 100%. If she could have said "you have covid" when I walked in without any kind of testing, she would have.

@twiigss Covid it seems is a multi dimensional virus and the symptoms you have may not even come close to the symptoms some other sufferer has. Very strange. One guy has no symptoms but is covid positive. Another has congested lungs so bad he can't breathe and some one else has bowels so loose his stools are little more than clear water.

@hippyjoe1955 the flu might have but Covid hasn’t.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@justanothername I guess you missed the part about the flu being misdiagnosed as covid.
