He's going to serve10 days in a Swiss jail not for doing a post on Facebook, but because he refused to pay a fine, and chose to serve 10 days in jail, in lieu of paying the 500 Swiss Francs fine ($625).

Details are important.

@wildland For this type of short prison sentences, offenders may also be placed into semi-detention, where they are allowed to go to work or school during the day and return to the institution at night, or receive an electronic bracelet for home confinement.

The point is that the OP claims he's being sent to jail for making a totally harmless and innocuous comment.
