@jshm2 Ukraine is at war. Go have a walk in Mariupol and see by yourself if you have a hard time trusting the images.
Agreed about renewables, but they don't have the capacity to clear greed either, which is why we're here
Edit: I mean strictly this part:

the initial costs are high, but they reap rewards after a couple of years.

You must live in delusional city.
It is cheap: water and maintenance parts cost is minima, but zero parts are produced using 3D printers. The stuff is made using super strong alloys and is extremely heavy, but then again, your address is One Delusional Lane, Delusional City.
they are not "at war".

Whereas with wind and hydro - you usually need only replace a turbine at most. Plus can 3D print most of the parts at less cost to boot.

Iran is post apocalyptic then cause we don't have power for 4 hours a day and sometimes no water for a week

How is Sweden so low??
Elessar · 31-35, M
@sarabee1995 Nuclear energy I guess, oil, low population, transportation infrastructure built more recently than the Roman age

@sarabee1995 41% Hydropower, 39% nuke, and 19% wind.
Washington state nearly 60% Hydropower and 8% wind (trying to double that) and about 10% nuke. On average I pay 50% of what someone in Pennsylvania does.
