Don’t be average, eat sensibly and exercise regularly. I assume the same things happen to the same type of people on both sides of the Atlantic.

Ukraine 💀

@CrazyMusicLover It's actively at war and this is a 2023 dataset 😬
@Elessar The world is so slow to respond to these atrocities.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SinlessOnslaught Consistently throughout history; humans tend to react to a crisis only when it's too late. See WW2 too.

Spain and Italy with the highest (other than the smallest, wealthiest countries) is interesting to me. The Mediterranean diet and the pleasant climate must have something to do with it 🤔

Even Albania has a slight increase in life expectancy over the USA! To be fair, it is probably so small that the difference could be accounted for by being within the margin of error.

Well dang, what's Southern France doing right?
iamthe99 · M

@jshm2 Hmm, I don't see how population size would affect this?

@jshm2 Well yeah this is fundamentally the reason why their average life expectancy is shorter - but it's unrelated with population size. The reason why the USA doesn't have public healthcare is purely political.
