Will we ever see true justice in the courts in Europe?

I have the BBC news on, online, and the verdicts are in for a murderer of three people in Nottingham. It doesn't look like justice because the authorities seem intent on putting people in mental hospitals rather than actually away in prison, or to capital punishment.

The agencies are ineffective.

There is no doubting that this man killed three people and he will be locked up for the remainder of his life.
Is this not justice, are you suggesting the death penalty would be more appropriate?

@MrAverage1965 He will only stay in the hospital until some politician somewhere down the line says, oh it was only deemed manslaughter on diminished responsibility. Now he's taking this medication he can be let out!

@Browneyesbrown Thats true but it is very unlikely to happen.

@MrAverage1965 We'll see, no doubt. Ten more years of the economic malaise that has been dominating Britain for the last twenty, and it might be another matter.
