I Am Worried About Refugees To European Countries

It looks like it was a Pakistani refugee who killed 12 twelve people with a truck in a Christmas market in Berlin.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/12/20/berlin-market-attack-suspect-named-23-year-old-asylum-seeker/

Three questions come to my mind.
1- How can there be a Pakistani refugee? Is there a war in Pakistan?
2- Will Merkel admit that her open borders policy has been an awful mistake that has put German people in danger?
3- Will Germans finally remove her from power in the next elections, and will she be taken to court for treason to her country?

It seems that she is ahead of you on that count. She recently has declared that there will not be parallel cultures / societies in Germany and is looking to ban the burka.

It is all well and Good to be a good global citizen, but there has to be a line drawn some where. Our last Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbot was trying to get the balance right. We were going to take 12,000 (I think) refugees, but they were going to be from the heavily persecuted ethnic and religious minorities. Mostly Christian Arabs and Kurds I think.

We need to take people who want to integrate into our culture, not trans plant their current culture into our land where is spreads like a cancer. Eventually destroying the very freedoms that allowed them to be accepted by.

Too late for her, I am afraid. There has been lots of evidence that the massive migrant reflux was a mistake, but she has not realised it until she sees her victory in elections at risk

Mate, I know what you mean. You would have thought BREXIT and the Trump election would have rocked the boats of the "Sweet smelling Oh Every One Should Love Each Other Pinky Liberals" but it didn't. They seemed to be so sure that their dogma was the right one they ignored the evidence to the contrary. Some Politicians in my country still refuse to believe that they may not be right, they say insulting things about anyone who disagrees with them. Pathetic really.
berangere · 80-89, F
painpuppy.Exactly, they flee persecution and then try to establish the same system in their countries of adoption.
berangere · 80-89, F
The only refugee I know of are from Syria, all the others are opportunists or "economic refugees"
Merkel will never admit to her monumental mistakes. She will blame other things or people for it,she is playing down many crimes done by so called "refugees"has even as much as said that the German people are not tolerant enough!.
Latest I hear 52% want her back in power.
Northwest · M
Perhaps you should accept that the German people put her in power. And, take a day off from hate. It's Christmas.
berangere · 80-89, F
@Northwest: I am not the hateful one.To you anyone who criticise Islam for whatever reasons is "full of hate" whether they tell the truth or not,you call them "bigots" when the biggest bigots are the Muslims themselves. You call people who criticise Islam "racists" Islam is not a race! You call people who criticise Islam "islamophobic" with all the atrocities done in the name of Allah and his "prophet" Mohamed, our fear is not a phobia but a very rational one! I will say no more! You are blind and biased and you try very hard to shut up those who expose the atrocities done in the name of the Islamic ideology of "kill the infidels wherever you find them" I don't know what your agenda is but you will NEVER shut me up so please do me a favour and disappear!

1. There are no refugees from Pakistan. And if there are there is no need for them to go to Germany to find a peaceful place to stay.

2. No, she won't. She will never admit that she was wrong.

3. Unfortunately, I don't think but she should.
adshaw · 36-40, M
1. He clearly was not a refugee.
2. No, she will never admit what she does not believe to be true.
3. They might but it will not undo the decades of self flagellation.

Have a look at the news paper link i posted down below. Despite the statistics, and the "Left" just play politics and perpetuate their unbalanced dogma. Let us look at the facts and respond in a humane way.

Again I have to agree, that is why you take nothing they say at face value, But cross reference it. All the papers come out with CRAP a lot of the time. Emotional clap trap. the trick it to be balanced and cross reference knowing that they are biased. Hell, we have a politician her called Pauline Hanson, and boy does she spew forth with some rubbish. But if you look into what she says, some where there is often a grain of truth, a seed if you will that has grown up and been twisted. But the original problem, situation is there none the less,
adshaw · 36-40, M
@painpuppy: At least with Hanson, she says what she believes in; instead of following the majority of politicians in towing the line, appeasing either the rich or minorities and lining their pockets in the process.
painpuppy · 56-60, M
@adshaw: Mate, I agree with that. But let me give you an example of what I mean, please.
I saw her give a "spruke" online before the last Fed election. She was talking about how the Govt is selling off Dams in North Queensland, Tinaroo and the Burdikin Dams. As a North Queenslander by birth, I was very interested in that. So i started to dig, and dig and dig. Finding nothing in the local rags or media. Eventually I discovered in the Wall Street Journal an artical saying that Aust Fed Govt is taking action in some international court to prevent countries like China buying more water rights than they have already. (Pissed me off that the local media did not think that the story was news worthy)
She was onto something important, for sure, but she was going about it from completely the wrong angle.
We can't discount the statements by some of these new contenders for the popular vote. Even Trump has some very good points buried amongst his, I can't think of a good word, mmmm hot air and silly statements. And He is president Elect of the USA. After all, I think that Globalisation in its current form has failed a vast swath of the electorate in the Western nations.

Waiting for the "The Germans made the man do it, he was the victim of Islamaphobia." excuses in the news now.
Cierzo · M
That will happen for sure. Don't forget 'he had mental problems' too.
painpuppy · 56-60, M
@Cierzo: Mate we had a case of Domestic Terrorism here in Sydney. The Lindt Cafe in Martin Place. Lone Perp. Waving the ISIS flag, officially designated as a "Nut job" and reported to the police before the incident by the Islamic community but every time he was arrested for questioning was released and the police were accused of Islamophobia. He was disturbed in the head. But that is exactly the type of individual targeted and selected for this "lone wolf" operation. I am sure you are not saying this, but lets be clear, just because someone has a mental health issue does not stop it being a terrorist attack.

There isn't a war, I'm sure of that. It's just media trying to make a big deal out of small things

According to this link, the boy was an ISIS fighter, so he's a terrorist.

It turns out, the guy arrested, was arrested for WWM (Walking While Muslim). While this is not a random accident, the facts are not in yet. The driver of the truck, dead at the scene, is Polish.

Merkel, cannot simply shut down its borders, and kick out the undesirables. It would feel a lot like the 1930s. Fearmongering does not help anyone.
adshaw · 36-40, M
Kicking out the undesirables is exactly what she should be doing. What point is there to a nation if it cannot even look after its own and its leaders are more on the side of its enemies? If people took some cues from the 1930's, we would not have the rampant 'refugees' and their treacherous apologists turning the West into a soulless 'multi-kulti' shithole.
Northwest · M
@adshaw: The lessons from the 1930s? What might these lessons be?
