They weren't flying but they did have little wings

So I was walking the dog at dusk, on one of our normal routes. When we were about 30 yards away from the front of an old church which is now a county building that helps people with daycare and food etc, I saw what I thought were two angel statues, similar to something someone would put out for Christmas decoration, little angels kneeling and praying with their hands folded and little wings on their back. I didn't think much of it just that I would take a closer look when I got up there because they weren't there before, but when I got up there there were no angel statues there just the cement ground .
