picked up four reverse vending machines for recycling cans and bottles

these don't pay you money to recycle, you get paid by doing your part to clean the environment. each month half of the proceeds will go to a local organization to make it fair the recipients will not be notified until the final few days of the month.
we also have a dumpster dedicated for all types of batteries.
