recycle or dont use [I Believe In Recycling]

I wish we could get rid of plastic .Its convenient but totally unnecessary .When I was a kid right up to my early 20s there was very little plastic .Bottles were all glass and were all recycled .Pop bottles got recycled by the pop man who came round once a week , the milkman delivered and collected the milk bottles and fresh orange juice . potatoes came in hessian or paper sacks all recyclable .In supermarkets and veg shops veg was all loose along with fruit or in hessian .Why the hell was it suddenly decided that putting it in plastic was easier ? Why is veg or fruit in a bag cheaper than loose its madness.People buy tap water in plastic bottles because its got a fancy name and alot of false claims on the bottle .If your worried buy a water purifier their easy to buy and cheap .Add up over a year all those bottles you buy you will be surprised what a purifier would save you .The Whole world has gone mad over plastic we need to stop and ban all plastic products Yesterday as I see it , its already to late were just making it worse .
