People still think climate change is a hoax?

Alright, the world has existed for millions of years and humans have lived on it for millennia also. But the drastic changes happening in the natural world around us is alarming.

How do these deniers not see it?

What d'yall think? Is the whole climate change debate a bogeyman unleashed for I don't know what reasons.

Or is it something real that we all are responsible for?

No-one in their right mind thinks climate change is a hoax. The historical facts are clear enough. But lots of people in their right mind think, or rather know, that it is impossible to predict with certainty how climate change will develop in future.

Of course it's possible to predict with certainty how climate change will develop in the future! Do you think this is the earth's first rodeo or something? 😆

@SandWitch I have no idea what your second sentence means. But your first is simply untrue.

@MartinII
Of course you don't understand what my second sentence means! If you believe that climate change has never happened to the earth hundreds of times before, then why would you understand my second sentence?

@SandWitch That's my point. The climate is always changing. We had a mini-ice age only a few hundred years ago. No-one knows how it will change in future.

@MartinII
It will change in the future no differently than how it changed in the past. Why are you worrying about climate change? Were you thinking that it's something mankind has caused single handedly?
MartinII · 70-79, M
@SandWitch I'm not worrying about climate change at all. I'm disagreeing with the original poster. Perhaps we are at cross purposes?
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
funny how the same kinds of scientists that think they can predict the climate 100 years from now, can't even accurately predict the weather 3 days from now isn't it? 🤔
MartinII · 70-79, M
@wildbill83 Absolutely.

What you are not understanding, is that meteorologists are not scientists, nor do scientists study meteorology. Climate change therefore, is not the study of meteorology which is probably why you don't understand what climate change is.
