Sometimes I think it's an excuse for more policies to "level the playing field". You know, finally put the dagger into the middle class.

@BrewCityBarfly It's about stifling capitalist economic development and instituting Marxism. I've already seen it - "This (zoning-compliant) restaurant will create 10 trillion tons of CO2!" Project denied, despite being completely zoning compliant; jobs are not created, economic activity does not happen, sales taxes are not collected. The property stays empty, probably until the commercial property owner throws their hands in the air and gives up trying to lease it. Then, the city can come in and build a homeless shelter on what was commercially viable property.

@graphite For the life of me, I can't grasp people who are for marxism and communism. Sadly, it looks like that train has left the station. The result is exactly what we have now; 20% of the top earners (under the top 1%) are better off than 4/5 of the remaining wage earners. You'd think the 80% would be pounding the table.

@BrewCityBarfly Lots of dimwitted folks who think it's about "sharing."
