Does anyone still believe that global warming and climate change are not real? ~

It has caused draught and wildfires in Canada, and here’s the effect on air quality in Ithaca, NY…
…and New York City…

Of course climate change and global warming are real! If they weren't we'd still be in a global ice age! Stupid question really, lol.

Edit:
Is climate change anthropogenic? Nope.

That remains to be proven. Currently it is a hypothesis being worked on by the scientific community. Hopefully the answer will be forth coming😊

*chuckle* Nothing has been proven. There are lots of inpteritations of the data and consensus does not mean proven.

@SlaveEt FYI..
a continuious global warming
Can lead to another ice age

To9 much heat
Can cause as example canadian glasiors to collapse
Resulting in huge abounts of fresh and cold water
To mix in thecsalt water
Greatly defusing and slowing of the global disperment of water / tempiture regulation

Mind you
Can take 1-200 years..yet
Well into the realm of possibilities

@SlaveEt Not in my head.

Water vapor is many times more significant as a green house gas than carbon dioxide. Yes, humans produce CO2 but the quantity we produce and its effect on climate change, has yet to be definitively proven.

We don't even completely understand weather (a temporary and quick changing fenomeon). Therefore, I question our ability to fully understand the Earth's entire climate, something by its very nature that is measured in millenia and not days or weeks. It is extremely complex.

@SlaveEt for YOUR INFORMATION

It is FACTUALLY UNDERSTOOD
HUMANS ARE MAJORLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLIMATE CHANGE GOING ON

Stop trying to deny what the FACTS ARE !!

STOP WITH YOUR WATER VAPER B.S. ...LOL
SlaveEt · 36-40, F
@TheDisciplinarian
Huh, it looks like you get shouty when triggered.🤔
TheDisciplinarian · 61-69, M
@SlaveEt you should understand dear
This has been known for at least 30 likely 40 years

Yet
Still there are people like you who are too Ignorante of the facts
To thus understand and know
Yet
People like you even Worse try to Convince EveryOne else that
The Facts that though Undisputed are because You and other Ignorant people ( big difference by the way between ignorance..stupidity and Craziness..though your views are Bleeding into stupidity and craziness )

So
That you feel i get shouty when Triggered
Humm

If while driving you reached down to pick up a dropped whatever
Thereby crashing and killing others

Is everyone else to think
Ahh heck..she dropped a stupid cigarette
It wasnt her fault others died

Now ask me why i get Triggered
Btw
I Only get Triggered by Extreme Ignorance..Stupidity and Craziness
( Don't you dare to think or tell others you dont..lol )

Sheesh !!

@TheDisciplinarian
Sir, if the facts were undisputed we would not be having this conversation and this debate would have died years ago. If the data, the facts, were undisputed scientists the world over would not still be debating and questioning the conclusions.

Should humans take every reasonable opportunity to reduce, reuse and recycle?

Of course.

Should we improve our relationship with our little life preserving space bubble?

Duh.

Should we assume we can prevent, stop or change the course of a world wide process?

No.

Should we assume we humans have a clue as to what is really happening, that we know best and therefore should attempt such an action?

Only if we wish to demonstrate our collective stupidity.

We should do our best to slow it down and there is a wide variety of measures that can be taken to do so.
Climate models may not be accurate a 100% but they clearly indicate a worrying trend. We can already feel and the effects of climate change and if we don't do something life on earth will grow increasingly difficult.

Also even if somehow it turns out we were clueless, improving our environment, creating less pollution and restructuring our life on earth would still benefit us.

@Emosaur and the winner is....

Emosaur!

👏👏👏👏👏

SlavEt ...thank you for a gallant but ultimately futile (not to mention risible) attempt to defend the indefensible.

I now declare this debate closed.
