I Am Concerned About Climate Change
in my lifetime, it has been noticeable in the change of seasons and higher tides that the world is slowly but surely heating up

to a certain degree (pun very much intended), it is a natural process and we are on a natural upswing of temperature the Earth is rotating fractionally closer to the sun and the natural variation in the atmosphere creates heating and cooling. However, due to human activity, there are a lot more "greenhouse gases" which allow solar radiation to come into the atmosphere but allow a lot less of the reflected and generated heat to dissipate, meaning the net result is a gradual warming of the planet. The oceans hold a lot of heat energy before increasing temperature, meaning the process is very slow, but is still happening.
