Have you ever done any real research on this subject? The fact is the computer models that were developed used a forcing factor used for computer error and not climate change. If indeed climate change were driven by CO2 our world would be burned to a crisp millions of years ago when the level of CO2 as magnitudes higher than it is today.
CO2 was higher between glacial periods historically, and temperature was higher as a result. That is what they are trying to calibrate against.

Your statement that "...if indeed climate change were driven by CO2 our world would be burned to a crisp millions of years ago..." contradicts your entire thesis. Your original premise is that temperature is not related to CO2. Your quoted comment above suggests that if there were a relationship it would be so extreme as to burn the planet to a crisp. Which is it?

You have no proof that the planet would have burned to a crisp.

No the point is that under climate change theory CO2 warming is an acceleration not a plateau. Thus the more CO2 the faster and the higher the temperature.
@hippyjoe1955: I understand that theory, which may or may not be true. The point is you cannot simultaneously make the points:

A: There is no relationship between CO2 and temperature
B: But if there were a relationship, it would be so high that we would burn to a crisp

A and B cannot both be true at the same time.

I think all the best scientists are just trying to match CO2 levels predicted for the next 100 years to CO2 levels our planet has encountered before, and they are trying to correlate that to what the temperature was at that time, which was higher.
