@Penny you could also try the super cheap, made at home stuff
which may well not work as well as tide but $20 to make enough for [if it works well] 300-600 loads of laundry seems like a decent thing to try (and it'd be all about the reuse kinda thing) -

@dirge i used a dawn dish soap recipe. someone explained that the homemade formula is lacking enzymes. it works pretty good though in a pinch. clothes come out looking and smelling clean. idk why they develop a smell sitting in the closet though after awhile. maybe like if you alternated it would be okay. or maybe added some vinegar to the wash or something idk. want me to try and find my old recipe that i used to use?
