I Care About The Environment

Yes, I'm a vegetarian I don't eat the butchered animals we have for millennia kept, farmed and murdered for our delectation. Someone asked what should happen to the herd animals then?

I thought about this, and said the only reason there are so many of them, like humans, because we purposefully keep their population high so we can feed on them. If we didn't feed on them, we wouldn't keep their populations high, and there wouldn't be a problem with their numbers.

Also, if our impact on the planet with their populations and our own, inflated by economical greed, were less the problems we have created for the planet would be diminished in some way, not quickly perhaps, but it would happen. On top of that non interference in the growth of other predators, like wolves and wildcats would also start having a positive affect.

Reafforestation would greatly enhance all life here too. Derelict farms and golf courses could return to being vast forests which would breathe cleaner oxygen into the air, and enhance all oxygen requiring life forms.

There's much can be changed back from the brink by vegetarianism.
