So the Gulf Stream is collapsing at a faster rate than we thought.

Any time in the next sixty years. With the most likely time in thirty years. We knew this was coming, but not this quickly.

Can we trust the research revealed in the respected journal, Nature. Or are we again subject to the alarmists with a cause?

We must and will adapt, the UK currently has a Tepid climate we can survive a change of climate.
