I Care About Our Planet

It saddens me how so many people are ignorant about the fact that shit's about to hit the fan real hard climate wise. within my lifetime, if nothing drastic is done, we could have a dystopian/ apocalyptic scenario at our hands.

Well there isn't anything you can do about it, now is there?

@FearfulHarmony49 There are speculations back and forth. Some say it is too late, some say we are at a tipping point. Some scientists have ideas that might work. But we cannot keep on living like this. I don't believe we can "Save" anything, but we can limit the damage, wich I still believe will be immence!

@attaboy I don't feel as though we're anywhere near a crisis.

@FearfulHarmony49 Nah, well the problem is that changes have started, and due to facts that I mentioned in another comment on this post, when things start to change, it will go faster and faster until it snowballs out of controle.
It is hard to predict but some theories say that there will be zones around the equator that will be uninhabitable, and zones further out with extreme epidemics and new viruses due to change in watersources and dampness. If these changes happen slowly it will be easier, but the climate zones are to migrate towards the poles. If this happens drastically, plants and animals can die as they cannot adapt fast enough. R-rated (rats, flies etc) species have a higher rate of survival in these kinds of disasters. K-rated species have a harder time (elephants, whales etc). Wich means that food and water supplies migh get cut off. Some areas migh get dangerous and uninhabitable so there might even be a big enviromental refugee crisis.

I just can't bring myself to believe it.
attaboy · 22-25
@FearfulHarmony49 It seems so far away.. :( that is why many people cannot believe it. When we learned about this in school of natural sciences our professor/ teacher were on the edge of crying, she was so scared. Especially for her children who have to live through the effects

@attaboy Sounds just like my teacher I used to like but am really glad to not be in her class anymore. She was a Spanish teacher who needed to learn to stay the fuck on topic.

@FearfulHarmony49 I understand the feeling of helplessness in this matter. I live with my parents and therefor have a hard time making theese choices as I am not the one taking decisions.
