I'm cleaning my youngest sons bedroom now...He is visiting his Grandpa in Ontario so when he comes back his bedroom will be clean!

I will do all of his laundry, wash dried folded and put away... I will wash all of his bedding, I have already cleaned his computer desk and his dresser, and tidied up wiping everything down and putting it in it's place. I am half way done... I already did his older brothers bedroom, it's the cleanest it's ever been! I also have my regular chores to do dishes, laundry, garbage, cleaning floors, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, and watering and weeding the garden, cleaning the kitty litter... I don't know where all of this energy came from??? I used to get overwhelmed just cleaning up the kitchen! Now I am tackling the whole house while my family is gone out of province to visit my husbands Dad!! I do hope to have EVERYTHING COMPLETED when they come back home! To have the house so clean they just might paint my kitchen!!! Here's to hoping!! Plus I have to go for walks around the neighborhood to keep up with my exercise routine!!! So I can fit into that dress that is one size too small for Christmas!!! Cheers!! And God Bless!!

My assumption is that your family doesn't keep their spaces neat and clean by themselves. In my opinion, you're making a mistake by rewarding their slovenliness. Give it a month and I guarantee you that everything will be as messy and smelly as before, if not even worse. Sorry.
