The largest animal that ever lived, the blue whale, is making a comeback. In 1920, there were about 3,000, and now the estimate is 20,000. As an added bonus, whale poo feeds phytoplankton, which supports the growth of other organisms, helping to improve the ocean's ecosystem and mitigate climate change.
