The UK's Northern Forest scheme has now reached the 10 million trees planted mark. Thousands of volunteers have helped plant a record number of trees this year.
The aim is to plant 50 million trees in and around cities, including Liverpool, Chester, Preston, Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, York, and Hull, by 2043.
Thats good news. I often drive to Borth is Wales and going around the hills and mountains i have seen grate areas of woodland cleared. It looks so bad for many years until the new trees get going
@HowtoDestroyAngels Still needs to be the right trees in the right places. The planting of a million of so trees near me was completely ballsed up, and approximately 80% of them have died.
