earlier in the month Walmart got closed for a week

now it's AutoZone. cities are getting tired of just collecting the fines and businesses not attempting to take corrective action, AutoZone actually blamed their customers and lack of truckdrivers instead of taking the blame themselves. improper storage of Hazardous waste (used batteries and motor oil).
guessing I'd better put a fence around our used battery area.

Yes you better. So is someone coming around and checking now? I better tell someone who has a used car business. Sometimes saves up the used batteries till they can be recycled.

@cherokeepatti mines in a cheap dog run now. saving them up defeats the purpose of the State mandated core charge

@MarineBob I think he gets those from wrecked cars that he uses for parts. They don’t need a battery replaced in those. Takes a flatbed trailer full of metal stuff and batteries to a big metal recycling place. If he goes somewhere to buy new batteries he brings in batteries for the core charge thing.
