Is it instant hellfire if one disobeys a magic 8 ball?

I asked someone's Magic 8 Ball if I should watch a movie from my collection tonight, i'm afraid because I might rather just listen to my audiobooks while I have the tv on the American News, partially because I was brought up on those prophecy fellas like Jack van Impe, thinking that if the 2nd coming happens surely they'd show it happening, eh?
