Why do studios insist on putting Jennifer Lopez in their movies... the latest being Netflix? She is one of the worst actors ever... she couldn't act if they paid her to... and they pay her a lot!

@KarenisKenziesmum "actor" is gender neutral and is normally used unless referring to a female actor in reference to an award such as an Emmy or Oscar, etc.
@Ontheroad Not where I live. We use "actor" to refer to a male actor and "actress" to refer to a female one. All this "gender neutral" nonsense is just getting out of hand. Just stick with words and phrases you grew up with.
@KarenisKenziesmum I get that there are differences depending on where one lives, but if it's good enough with the Cambridge, Oxford, and Merriam-Webster dictionaries, I'm good with it too.
