Is this man weak and pathetic?

Darius is 35 years old. Amir, the demon is 14. Darius was told that because Amir is a demon ( who can potentially lose control of his emotions and start eating people if he's forced to go into combat with other demons/ demon slayers) he should under no circumstances go into battle by himself.



But when the demons came and were stronger than expected, Darius was terrified and hid. Amir fought alone until other slayers ( luckily) joined in.

In order to come up with a good excuse, Darius used his sword to cut his leg open.
