I just want to put it out there

There's no such thing as a bad movie score composed by John Williams.[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-9reMkxTjw]

But it's a shame when it's not complimented by a great movie.

ummm Peter Schickle wrote the music for Silent Running and the only thing decent about the film is the soundtrack...!

John Williams is one of the greats for sure!

@Elevatorpitches I don't know of Peter but Ill have to try his scores.

Those moments where the music hits would be even better accompanied with an emotional scene, or action sequence.

I'm a big fan of John Williams, hope he continues to make music while he still can

@caPnAhab I just want to find meaning here when people come around I want to learn who they are and if they really care about anything besides their own little private thing or if theres ever anything to BIND us as human beings here... and its almost impossible, not being their friend already

and I must say every time I get like this and talk THEN someone says they might go look for some stuff I mention

I dont care to do that with people its just awkward and uncomfortable
and not really so genuine

@Elevatorpitches it's only awkward if you make it awkward. I wasn't uncomfortable at all, not with your comment about Schickle. I was actually glad, I thought we were starting to connect over music we could both like.

Now, I'm realizing you're a difficult person to reason with, even when it's an otherwise normal conversation. And why would I put effort in knowing you if you come back with a retort like that?

Let people be themselves and you may find it easier to make friends.
