What's the main difference between blocking and muting ?

Visibility of comments. Muting, you won't see their posts, but you'll still see comments they make.
Blocking, you don't see anything.

Block you'll see nothing by them unless you know how and are really persistent. Blocked replies, either from you or them, often show as deleted comments.

Mute will show less from them. Actually quite a bit less. You'll still see their replies though!

To me muting is a passive aggressive form of blocking and I don’t use it, I either block or ignore.

Blocking is when you chop off their head with a sword.

Muting is when you just chop off their tongue.

Actually, I do not know what happens with muting. I just block. Clean severing.
