I been a wrestling fan all my life and I didn't know this.

@HumanEarth he didn’t make it through his hip surgery
Even now Kevin Nash struggles with this.

Wow, that gotta suck. Hope he makes it.

just think as a kid I grew up with the AWA Heavyweight Champ Crusher. He was my two uncles best friend

I'm sure you know the Crusher is the one with hair

When I was real little kid, I was always at some kind AWA wrestling event.

@HumanEarth I saw him wrestle with Dick the Bruiser against Black Jack Lanza and Mulligan with manager Bob Heenan in 1972 in Indianapolis I believe Art Sailor was on the billing also. The Bruiser made me believe!

I remember all them. The Crusher kayfabe cousin is Dick the Bruiser. Did you know they were related
Pfuzylogic · M
@HumanEarth I knew they were cousins and wrestled in Japan.
The Crusher came after the Bruiser for me and his son was my age and played football against Ben Davis Jr. High where I attended. He actually came to the game! He had a presence that had you listening even when I was 30 and he was in his 50s.

The Crusher went to the same highschool as my uncles and my mother and I seen him almost every weekend.

My mother always said he was an idiot and never liked him. Even after he got famous

@HumanEarth What he lacked in manners he more than made up in charisma and ability to entertain. He and the Bruiser could pass for brothers!
