@SW-User which is what I said initially, it’s important to some of us. It doesn’t have to make sense to you. There’s another posted story based on a conversation I had with another Brit about differences in our culture racially.

I tried it.
All four of my grandparents were from Italy, but the analysis on that site did not mention "Italian" at all for me!
Then I gave the site a different picture of me. Three of the four ethnic groups it came up with were different from the first set.

I found a website that analyzes your DNA and tells you your ethnicity.
39% England and Northwestern Europe with a concentration in central southern England, specifically Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and West Oxfordshire
39% Scotland
9% Norway
6% Wales
6% Sweden and Denmark
1% Germanic Europe
I should point out, however, that my results depend almost entirely on the identity of the DNA scientists who work there. They have changed pretty radically over time.
