Australian electricity prices to jump around 30 to 50 pct due to 'transition' away from coal and gas fired power stations to so-called 'renewables'...

So the transition away from coal and gas (we have no nuclear) baseload electricity generation to a mostly 'so-called renewable' model is going to come with very sharp cost increases - predicted to be in the range of 30 to 50 percent - in just a couple of years.

That makes the viability of electric vehicles come into question yet again. Suck shit green-washers.

Here in NSW, there will be no coal power stations operating beyond the mid-2030's, so where will all the electricity to run everyone's electric cars and houses come from? Most people cannot afford and do not want rooftop solar. Most people do not want massive solar farms or windfarms on the doorstep. Snowy Hydro 1.0 and 2.0 cannot meet the demand and never have been designed to do so.

Priorities for electricity supply will go to industry and hospitals and government businesses before private residences. So homes will be subject to a lot more frequent (and longer) blackouts. Oops.

Our 'dependence' on electricity is starting to fall apart...

The people pushing solar and wind before it's practical don't care whether you can get around or stay warm. As long as they can, they don't care about you. The elites fly around the world in private jets to preach the move away from fossil fuels.
@turbineman40 we're losing the ecosystem, and certain people Don't mind.

Well I don’t have answers for you but I have a general statement….the hole in the ozone over Australia is as direct result of prolonged coal use and more.

However the Australians didn’t create this mess on the planet……everyone who has lived has a hand in the problem.

And the undeniable fact is that the European is hiding from the world the nasty secret they’ve been hiding……

Do you think you can handle the harsh reality of what the world doesn’t want you to know?!

I wish I didn’t know but I do.

All of the environmental issues from the last 150 come from a tiny little hamlet in the European continent.

The hamlet occupies 998 square miles, 67,000 residents and five languages.

Have you guessed who is the planet destroyer yet? With under 70,000 people and five languages I bet you can bet it is those treacherous Luxembourgish are completely responsible.

Check the facts! Over

😊🤥❤️

@Whodunnit I get that moral and social values are not paramount for some people. You are free to ignore ethical facts.

@Roundandroundwego "Burn it all dead. Finally kill that ecosystem" - And yet I'm the one ignoring ethical facts? 😆

@Whodunnit Solve the nuclear waste problem and you will be set for life money wise. I agree nuclear is the way to go but it takes twice as long, or more, to build a facility due to the regulations. Find a use for the nuclear power plant waste and the system will change completely
Good reason to stick with coal! No sacrifice, no price rises or we end the ecosystem!!!
Stand your ground! Especially if it's on fire.

@Roundandroundwego It's all about performance allyship activism at business and corporate levels. Forcing coal power stations to look 'dirty' when they are actually highly energy efficient, and making people think that all fossil fuels are bad, then when everyone has electric cars there is no way to recharge them. Oops
@butterflybaby75 burn it all dead. Finally kill that ecosystem.

The whole damn world is crazy. Common sense says renewable energy is a joke.

@Baremine It actually costs more to build a renewable energy windmill farm which produces less energy then a coal fired steam plant.

Ever wonder why China is not building renewable energy sites? They make most of the parts now. It is because the renewable energy DOESN'T work! They are smart enough to get this fact
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Renewables or not the prices will rise that much anyway.
