Half of a million Floridians already without power / here is some of the damage so far

@DeluxedEdition must've been from hurricane Sally in 2020. yep, we had a hurricane in frickin' 2020... it was such a crappy year. except that the air smelled really good because of less pollution.

@DeluxedEdition Down here in Broward County, Irma did a number. I remember up in the Lauderhill area, a street light near a Checkers was ripped completely out of the ground. Cluttered up a part of the parking lot.

@DeluxedEdition I hope so too. Thankfully this time we don't have to evacuate down here. But my family's from Tampa and I know that part of Central Florida is in the evacuation zone.

@Lilnonames honestly I feel bad for the Philippines… they’re getting hit by a cat 4/5 typhoon

I saw some photos a lot of the coast there is underwater. Terrible they don’t have the kind of infrastructure for a storm like that
