I Will Study Harder This Semester

On Monday we start the next semester. I am half way through my degree! it's scary! But my feedback on last semester was really good. It makes me want to work harder still.

I hated doing my uni degree. For all the money I spent on it, I hardly learnt a thing I could transfer/take with me to the working world. Being dyslexic doesn't help either as you are already behind the 8 ball. Alas good luck to you!

@Laughman Thank you. I am dyslexic too. So is my lecturer. But I do Art. The college gives me help to write the lectures. But my best work is in jewellery.

@BlodynHaf do you get special consideration for assessment?

@Laughman Yes. You can get an extra week. But I don't use it. It just prolongs the agony!

@BlodynHaf yeah it's crap. I was allowed an extra hour for exams. It is completely useless. They actually need an alternative form of assessment altogether.

@Laughman I think that in Art we are lucky. We don't get exams. But the assessment of our work is really thorough. We have to show our ceramics and jewellery and that we have learnt the skills. And our sketch books and journals. We must have evidence of research, our design process and evaluation of our own work. And we have essays on contextual studies.

@BlodynHaf hmm good luck with that. I'm not creative with my hands so if you can get good scores by making stuff, then well done to you. Nice work :)
