I didn't particularly enjoy PE and Games - I was not good at them and not interested anyway in games like football. (Nor am I now.)
Howwever, we had very good facilities and good teachers, so I can't complain about the quality.
PE uniform was white shorts ans T-shirt, and black plimsolls. Plus appropriate kit for football during that geam's season, and cricket or volleyball in Summer.
I don't know what all this bare feet thing is about. I don't think I'd ever heard of PE in bare feet until seeing people talk about it on here.

@ArishMell If you didn't get the chance to experience barefoot p.e. then I think you missed out. In my school bare feet were considered the safest option in the gym - better grip on most surfaces and also better for climbing those wretched ropes! Outside we often got very muddy - bare feet were much easier to clean than plimsolls and it felt great to walk/run on all the different surfaces. I wasn't very good at p.e. so any enjoyment was welcome.
