I Remember Physical Education In Vest And Pants [I Hated Physical Education Class]

Vest, pants and bare feet were our PE kit for the first two years of primary school. Thereafter there was an "optional" kit of red T-shirt, white shorts and black pumps, which some children wore, but others didn't. One day, in year 5, I became conscious of being the only girl in the class still doing PE in her underwear. I asked my mum for a PE kit of my own, but that did not appear until the following year.

some kids in my school did not bring there PE kit as they thought they could get out of doing PE but they was made to do it in there pants. After every one laughing at them they never did it again lol

@nevergiveup I'm sure that was a strong deterrent 😬 Underwear was considered an "acceptable" alternative to T-shirt and shorts at our school, so forgetting a change of clothes was no way to get out of PE. Even outdoor activities - you just wore your school shoes with your pants 😟
