I Remember Physical Education In Vest And Pants [I Hated Physical Education Class]

Scottish Country dancing at my primary school "ooop north" having to dance with the girls as we were all inappropriately dressed... so un pc now - just embarrassing back then even at that age!!

What were they thinking?

We did exercises (nothing as grand as gym) just in vest and knickers and bare feet. Why not?

@AndreaNewLife us boys had shorts on but I can distinctly remember the girls having to be in vest and knickers but I don't know if they were PE knickers as such

@AndreaNewLife it seemed "anything goes".... given the era it was the mini skirt in school and stockings... same as the young lady teachers. A difficult time for us boys!

@Justme264 Depended on who we were, repeat offending etc, but we had to take a note home, and each parent responded differently, but always strictly
