@FreeSpirit1 I know exactly where I would go, July 17, 1980, to tell my Dad that my mother was going to take my two older brothers and myself to iowa, leaving early the next morning before dawn to a shelter first, lying to the matron why we were there, then getting to the airport about 9am or so, so he could have her arrested for parental interference, a law stating that no parent is allowed to take their child(ren) out of state without the approval of the other parent. How she got past that I can only speculate she forged his name on paper.
