I Love to Learn

Today I have been listening to things on YouTube and learning about Carl Jung, existentialism, a bit about nihilism, the stoics and the connection between Stoicism and CBT and Buddhism (the latter being relating to desire of things). Well mostly what I actually learned was existentialism, just the basics of it. Which is a hard thing to define but it's a philosophical movement where you think there is not a set answer to things as with a religion but it is individual, and everyone's answers to betterment, feeling fulfilled, faith etc can be different.

good and evil are relative, to the grass the herd of cows are a ravaging horde of giant demons and the wolves are saviors while the cows may see the grass as salvation and those same wolves as the demons.

Interesting thought. Are you interested in any of these philosophies or other philosophies in particular?

@amethyst1: that is why i added you to my friends, so we can get deep into existentialism and philosophy without each others posts getting lost into the list of notifications. 😀

@amethyst1: so are you into any of those you tube audio books? they are quite informative. i have listened to the art of war as well as some of the greek philosophers translated lectures.

What I listened to earlier was from the YouTube channel 'Academy of Ideas'. I've not listened to serious/factual books on YouTube. I think some of them are from librivox and I did try and start listening to them but didn't seem to be paying enough attention (I recall one was Pagan Papers). One book I did listen to one there was a fantasy fiction book but it seems to have been taken off there, presumably due to copyright issues.
