Like what a fish feels when a hook is sunk in real good!!!
The fun begins when you have to remove it yourself with a good friend there to cut the barb off as you pushed it out far enough for them to do so and then pull it back out the other side!!!
Didn't hurt at all till it was out. Lol Then the throbbing began. Although all thru it ..cutting myself loose gathering my gear driving to my friends house and pushing it up thru the skin to get th barb out...my brain kept thinking there must be some pain?? Hmmmm am I in shock?? Why can't I feel pain it must be hurting surely.... Lol as I was slicing the skin to let the hook tip out... Brain is still trying to put pain in there somewhere during. After is just confusing it. Lol
Is pain something you are into?i have a much easier way to remove a hook!just grab a pair of pliers as soon as it happens and you may need to have someone do this for you,just grab the hook with the plier,count to three,and pull from the same direction the hook went in.take my word for it,its far less painful than it sounds and by far less painful than pushing it through to cut the barb,then back through to come out
