Not necessarily true. The false often has a large following, and some of that can be sheared away by reasoned critique and even polemic. To say nothing of satire.

@Alyosha Possibly, but to stop teaching what is right in order to refute that which is wrong gives the wrong recognition.

@AnnaWasHere Division of labor. Someone can teach the true, depending upon their apptitudes, and someone else can refute the false. Or you can dicide your own time between two projects.
